Work Equipment - PUWER

Under the Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations (PUWER) any risks from work equipment to a person’s health or safety must be controlled so that the risk is reduced to the lowest possible level.

The PUWER regulations also places a duty on owners of power presses and press brakes to have them thoroughly examined every 6 or 12 months (dependant on guarding arrangements)

The PUWER regulations cover ALL work equipment from simple hand tools through to large plant.
